I’m passionate about creating unexpected environments that shape emotional narratives and inspire stories worth sharing.
Life Coach
New York City, 2018
Most recently, I worked to bring Coach's first customer facing activation to life. In collaboration with The Projects*, together we created four surreal, otherworldly rooms that were devoted to encouraging creativity, consciousness and self-expression.
Venice Biennale
Venice Italy, 2012
Deconstructed wood frames and floating fabric walls float incomplete in space, as a backdrop for a networked interactive exhibit about urbanism in Seoul. For the Venice Architecture Biennale Pavilion at the Giardini, I worked with Haeahn to design around the notion of pedestrian freedom.
Live Wire
Los Angeles, 2008
Formed from an impossible aesthetic, a new computational design language and fabrication method were adapted to a gallery installation, and later a competition winning entry for the LA Forum. These installations designed and built in collaboration with Oyler Wu synthesized design thinking with stunning execution.
Indigo
Davis Ca, 2014
Returning to my hometown, I was provided a unique opportunity to team up with Indigo, a firm I had interned with early in my schooling. I managed a project to transform a local landmark: a mid-century Dairy Queen restaurant into artist studios complete with hand-built architecture and custom furniture.
Expo Korea
South Korea 2013
During my time as a designer at the think-tank of the South Korean company Haeahn, we designed the expansive Yeosu World Expo campus complete with digital enviornments, lush parks and a custom interactive facade-roof system.
Hyundai CE
ATLANTA GA, 2012
Hyundai Construction Equipment sales center showcases the precision and intensity that is characteristic of the brand's products. In this project we at Haeahn designed both product platforms with interactive sales kiosks, as well as an informational exhibition framework derived from the visuals of the industrial equipment.
Solar Decathlon
Multiple Locations, 2013
During my time at SCI-Arc, we produced a factory built, grid-independent home. Conceived from the inside out, we considered the active lifestyle needs of up and coming homebuyers, while maximizing durability, energy consumption, and multifunction.
